A tattoo stays in place by hiding just under the skins surface and fooling the body it’s not there. TATTOO ERASE uses natural products and places them on top of the ink, these natural products help the body to recognise the foreign material, the body then expels the pigment that forms the tattoo.
The fluid is put into the skin in a very similar way to having the tattoo done, using a tattoo gun so the sensation is very similar. Aftercare is also similar but to be kept dry.
The skin will be red at first and form small scabs, these scabs need to be left to fall off naturally, this usually takes 3-20 days. The skin then needs time to heal, usually 8-12 weeks, this really does depend on the client as to his/her healing process. The client will then be treated again once the skin has returned back to its natural colour and all redness has gone.
Left is a tattoo that has been treated using the tattoo erase system, now the skin just needs time to heal and receive a tan to return to the colour of the surrounding skin.
It’s very important that all aftercare advice is followed by the client, as to get the best results from your tattoo removal. Remember aftercare is of upmost importance to the healing process and when followed properly can have amazing results.
When you have your treatment, your therapist will guide you through your aftercare and give you information on how the area should be looked after and on any recommended creams you should be using to speed up the healing process.
